Palazzo Laderchi is located in the historical centre of Faenza (RA), on the corner of corso Garibaldi and via XX Settembre, and was designed by Francesco Tadolini on commission from Count Ludovico Laderchi in 1780. The façade has neo-Renaissance features as do the rooms inside. The frescoes on the ceiling of the “Grande Galleria” were completed in neo-classical style by Felice Giani in 1794. The walls feature a repeating pattern with plaster pilasters by Antonio Trentanove and vertical festoons painted with flowing ribbons, flowers and fruit. The elliptical study dedicated to astronomy (1797) is particularly interesting. The piano nobile today houses the Museum of the Risorgimento and the Contemporary Age.
