Approximately 15km from Florence is the green oasis of the Park of Pratolino: one of the biggest parks in Tuscany. This magnificent villa, built in the 16th century, doesn’t exist anymore, and the park is full of water features, mazes, statues and artificial caves. One of its more famous pieces is the Giant of the Apennines by Giambologna, which was designed by Buontalenti.
