The Lagorai chain is a majestic mountain range in eastern Trentino which extends 70km between Mount Calisio and the Rolle Pass in the Primiero valley.
The area features a wealth of water courses. A range of trekking trails help exploration of the area including the translagorai which covers 80km from Panarotta to the Rolle Pass with tracks, donkey trails and WWI trenches.
Alongside the Lagorai range is the Cima d'Asta, a massif that some geographers consider to be a subgroup of the mountain chain.
Val Cia, in the Primiero valley, offers a comprehensive view of the chain and Cima d'Asta as does the upper part of the Vanoi Valley and the area of the Brocon Pass.
