Ancient Rocca San Pietro is located in Castro dei Volsci (FR). Recently restored, it offers a view of the entire valley of the River Sacco from Cave to Montecassino. The Monument to Mamma Ciociara located here remembers the women of the area abused by French soldiers during WWII.
