Pergine Valsugana (Trento) is a Renaissance borgo of historical interest in upper Valsugana, dominated by the ancient towers of the medieval castle.
The historical centre is filled with evocative sights, like via Maier, a Renaissance-era neighbourhood filled with artistic decoration from noble residences to ancient churches.
The village is surrounded by hills, fruit orchards and lakes: the smaller Pudro, Madrano and Canzolino, and larger Caldonazzo and Levico. A few kilometres away is Bersntol, home to a minority linguistic group and ancient traditions set in an impervious and fairy-tale natural landscape.
