Lake Caldonazzo, 5 km in length and 627 m2 of surface area, is the largest in Trentino. Located in Valsugana with an average depth of 26.5 m., its waters touch the shore in the towns of Caldonazzo, Calceranica al Lago and Tenna.
Thanks to the favourable climate and the mild temperatures of the water (18° - 24°C), it is possible to swim in the lake from May to the end of September. Surrounded by free beaches and equipped resorts, it offers the ideal place for sports such as water skiing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, rowing and diving. There is also a wealth of fishing given the presence of trout, common rudd, carp, sunfish and tench.
