The film, a sequel to Under the Riccione sun, finds the friends juggling new emotions and making important choices against the background of the Amalfi coast.
At the beginning of the film, Vincenzo (Lorenzo Zurzolo) and Furio (Davide Calgaro) are on the hydrofoil heading for Amalfi, as Irene (Isabella Ferrari), worried about her son, is driving along the coastal route with her partner Lucio (Luca Ward) headed for the same destination. The friends enjoy Amalfi by day and by night, wandering the alleyways and squares in the historical centre, several times finding respite in the shade of Amalfi’s Duomo, with its yellow and green tiled bell tower, in piazza Duomo.
Essential both a boat trip out to sea with stunning panoramas of Amalfi and Atrani, and a bicycle tour to the pretty beach of fiordo di Furore.
The family of Irene, Vincenzo and Roberto (Andrea Occhipinti) meets for a drink on the panoramic terrace of the Rada Beach Bistrot in Positano.
When Lucio takes Vincenzo scuba diving near the faraglioni (seastacks) of Amalfi, the boy’s parents are cross. Finding out that Lucio is leaving, Irene speeds down the coastal alleyways on a Vespa to catch him at the harbour.
The final scenes, where Camilla (Ludovica Martino) teaches Vincenzo to ride a bike and the lunch party, take place in the gardens of Villa Rufolo in Ravello, which stretch out along terraces hanging over the sea.
