The Castle of Stenico, one of the oldest in Trentino, was a fortress of great strategic importance. It stands on a high rocky hill which offers a magnificent view of the Outer Giudicarie basin in Terme di Comano.
Inside, numerous rooms are furnished with furniture, paintings, sidearms and firearms and ancient utensils of daily use from the collections of Castle Buonconsiglio in Trento, of which Castel Stenico is a branch. The Judgment hall houses a section of ancient locks, keys and chests while the Council hall, given its exceptional acoustics, is used for concerts.
The Sala del Giudizio houses a collection of ancient locks, keys and chests, while the Sala del Consiglio is used for concerts because of its exceptional acoustic qualities.
