Resia (Reschensee) Lake is a reservoir in the municipality of Curon (Graun), in western South Tyrol. The artificial lake is six kilometres in length and about one kilometre across at the broadest point. Its very striking landmark, a bell tower jutting out of the water, makes Resia Lake extremely distinctive and a defining symbol for the whole Venosta (Vinschgau) region.
The entire village of Curon and a large part of the village of Resia were submerged in the floods caused by the building of the reservoir. There were 163 houses destroyed and 523 hectares of fertile topsoil flooded in the process.
