Via di Pré, in Genoa, is a stretch of road that leads from porta dei Vacca to piazza della Commenda, parallel to the sea.
Characteristic carruggi wind around the Medieval buildings leading to via Gramsci and the sea and in the opposite direction to via Balbi. Before the creation and extension of via Balbi, via di Prè was the only road leading westwards out of the city and so was always very busy.
Near piazza dello Statuto, where the neighbourhood market is located, the street overlooks the enclosing walls of the Royal Palace gardens with a statue of the Virgin Mary, Queen of the city, nestled in the wall and the little Church of St. Sixtus on the road. It is today one of the most characteristic and multi-ethnic streets in the city.
