Where it was filmed 'Framed! A Sicilian Murder Mystery'

The ten-week shoot for the TV series took place entirely in eastern Sicily where Sicilian comedians, Salvatore Ficarra and Valentino Picone, play brothers in law and lifelong friends who run a TV repair business together. One day they are called for a repair only to discover that it is the home of a local mafia boss, who has been killed shortly before their arrival: fearing they will be accused of his murder, they spark a series of actions that only gets them deeper into trouble. Locations in the series include the cities of Palermo and Sciacca, the hills of Piana degli Albanesi and San Cipirello and the splendid setting of the Abbey of Santa Maria del Bosco in Contessa Entellina, where the unfortunate pair try to build themselves an alibi.
