Polignano a Mare, a small Apulian seaside town, which is famous for being the birthplace of Domenico Modugno, instead lends its historical centre and picturesque seaside views to the imaginary Campanian town of San Valentino a Mare, where the Caprioli family lives. It is in the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta that the marriage between Teo and Sofia takes place.
Last but not least, the wedding feast, which takes place towards the end of the film, is held at the luxurious Grand Hotel La Sonrisa in Sant'Antonio Abate (NA), which is also where reality show “Il Boss delle Cerimonie” was filmed.
