Lake Nembia in San Lorenzo in Banale (Trento) is 400 m long and 120 wide and not very deep. The little pool is located a kilometre south of lake Molveno, at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites. Both are “landslide” lakes, formed about 3,000 years ago after a huge quake blocked the valley and the normal flow of water. There is an oasis between the two lakes of about 2 hectares that is of great natural interest (thanks to a partnership between Enel and WWF).
The lake can be reached by car and has a parking area.
