Via Aurelia is an old Roman road, which today links Rome to France, skirting around the Tyrrenhian Sea and the Ligurian Sea. Along their journey, the player crosses a number of cities: Rome, Civitavecchia, Bracciano, Siena, Piombino, and Viareggio (the destination in the adventure). Near Bracciano, mention is made of the lake and the Castle. The building, also known as Orsini-Odescalchi Castle, was used as a refuge by Pope Sixtus IV in 1491 as he fled the plague sweeping through Rome.

A narrative video game created by Italian studio Santa Ragione. Two women, Lella and Olga, embark on a journey towards France, both for different reasons. It’s an opportunity to set the player off on Via Aurelia to retrace important events that took place in Italy in the 1970s. Along the way, through their conversations with a number of hitchhikers, they broach delicate issues such as abortion, divorce, the relationship between the State and the Church, and the kidnapping of Aldo Moro by the Red Brigades.
