The video game is set in the streets of Milan: during the adventure the player comes across many famous locations and monuments that characterise the Lombard capital. The digitally recreated locations include the Duomo, the area of the Navigli and Porta Ticinese with the identifiable Columns of San Lorenzo and the Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore; viale Monza; Torre Velasca; the “Pirellone”, the famous skyscraper close to the Central station; the tram deposit in via Custodi, plus the prison of San Vittore and the reproductions of residential buildings typical of Milan (the so-called “case a ringhiera”). As the developers stated: “this was not a 1:1 reconstruction of the places, rather our aim was to achieve an aesthetic result that would allow those who have visited these places to recognise them quickly”. Although the game does not intend to be a documentary, the developers carried out on-location research and gathered photographic and verbal information about the look of the 1970s city to do it justice in its digital transfer.
