Where it was filmed 'Diabolik - Ginko all'attacco!'

In the second film directed by the Manetti Bros saga dedicated to the famous masked thief (here played by Giacomo Gianniotti), an unrecognizable Bologna is again Clerville, featuring, with chases and gunfights, the area of via Marconi and piazza dei Martiri, via dei Mille and via Don Minzoni.

Aerial drone shots feature the stretch of Nuova Porrettana from the hamlet of Borgonuovo to the centre of Sasso Marconi where a Pallas Citroen drives past with Inspector Ginko on board. It is almost impossible to distinguish the Clerville of the Bolognese shoot from the Clerville shot in Milan, in via Larga, piazza della Scala and piazza Edison among others.

The second film once again features Trieste with filming at historic Caffè San Marco in via Battisti 18; corso Italia; and piazza della Borsa which was the setting for the car chase between Ginko (Valerio Mastrandrea) and Diabolik’s Jaguar E-Type.

The Lazio coastline can be seen in the background of several scenes.
