Where it was filmed 'La banda dei Babbi Natale'

Several streets in Milan are shown in the flashbacks where Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo tell the police inspector about their strange lives and the misunderstandings that led to them being identified as a gang of burglars, but everything begins (or ends?) in the building in via Pastrengo 19, Milan where Monica, Aldo’s girlfriend lives. Giacomo’s apartment is in the same building as Giovanni’s veterinary clinic at via Pollaiuolo 9. The dealer where Aldo attempts to raise some money is in via Spartaco. Piazza degli Affari and Palazzo Mezzanotte (housing the Milan Stock Exchange) feature in a scene where Giacomo and Elisa dance after dining in a tram-restaurant.

Giovanni, who often travels to Switzerland using the excuse of work, crosses the customs border of Bizzarone (CO) several times to get to Veronica whose home is in the location of Villa Bordone-La Rocchetta, Bosisio Parini (LC). He is in the Natural History Museum of Milan when he tries to tell the truth to his Italian wife.

Before getting to Monica’s house and being arrested, the three friends have a close encounter with the real Band of Father Christmases in via Pietro Borsieri as they leave the illuminated skyscrapers of stazione Garibaldi behind.
