Approximately 8km from Fasano, the lush Selva di Fasano extends along the Murge plateau, at a height of 450m. The Selva (which means woods) is an area of pristine natural treasures including Mediterranean maquis, trulli and caves, the nearby shore and a stunning views from the top of the Murge plateau.
It has become a popular location for visitors with many welcoming structures immersed in its pristine green setting. The heart of the area is the trullo shaped church on Via Toledo, where the Casina Municipale (the centre for meetings, initiatives and cultural events) also stands. Only a few steps away is the Fasano Zoo, one of the largest in Europe.
