The 18th century Masseria Santo Stefano, which has always belonged to the family who built it, is situated amidst the ancient olive groves and cherry trees typical of the Conversano (BA) landscape. Recently restored, the Masseria is today a residence that fuses tradition and modernity. A tree-lined drive leads to the main façade, painted in limewash, with a pool surrounded by a pine forest and an English lawn to the left. The building is typical of the 18th century masserias of Apulia and the areas once destined as storage for foodstuffs have now been transformed into welcoming salons which lead to the two upper storeys. The area of the masseria dedicated to animal husbandry (stables and troughs), and the ancient citrus grove surrounded by stone walls leading to a hectare of pine forest, are unchanged. The wide terraces offer a stunning view of sunsets and enchanting panoramas.
