The San Sebastiano range is a long and imposing massif in the Dolomites, between the Conca Agordina and val di Zoldo. Its most important peaks, from left to right, are: San Sebastiano (2,488m) very close to the passo Duran; Tàmer (2,550m) whose shape is reminiscent of a throne; and the Moschesin group with the beautiful Moschesin castle (2,499m) covered with spiers and pinnacles.
From the range, it is possible to see the enrosadira, a phenomenon typical of the Dolomites, which gives the peaks a reddish to purple colour, especially at dawn and dusk.
The San Sebastiano group can be reached from La Valle Agordina, Agordo and Zoldo. The most characteristic side is undoubtedly the Agordo.
