Description

Mount Agnèr, also known as "the Giant of the Dolomites" because of its height (3,000m), is a peak in the Pale di San Martino group located on the south-western side of the Conca Agordina between the municipalities of Voltago Agordino (south-east) and Taibon Agordino (north-west) in the Belluno area. It separates the valleys of San Lucano and Sarzana. The enrosadira phenomenon tinges it pink during the winter dawns.
The peak was used as a set for the film The Bear by Jean-Jacques Annaud.
