Mount Framont, in the municipality of Taibon Agordino (Belluno), is the southernmost outpost of the Moiazze group and features three peaks: Lastia de Framont, the highest; Mont Alt de Framont and a little further east, the Como.
Seen from the valley floor, the vertical rock face seems impenetrable, but it is actually one of the easier mountains to climb.
It is also possible to drive to Malga Framont, continue on foot to Forcella Camp – which features the frescoes of the “Agordo Paese del Graffito” initiative – and climb the short grassy slope that leads to the top. The peak offers a spectacular view of the whole Conca Agordina.
