An imaginative space-time journey, full of suggestions that are renewed in every season: this is the Borgo Medievale (Medieval Village), born in 1884 as a Section of Ancient Art of the Italian General Exposition of Turin with the aim of reproducing a feudal village of the 15th century.
The buildings, decorations and furnishings are faithful copies born from the brilliant intuition of a precursor of the open air museums, the Portuguese Alfredo d'Andrade, who in this complex revived over forty examples from Piedmont and the Aosta Valley of the 15th century.
The Borgo offers different types of multi-purpose spaces, both outdoors and indoors, in which to organize events of various genres, combining them with art, music and animations: an engaging mix of culture and entertainment, in the heart of the Parco del Valentino.
