The film takes place over the space of a day, as two teenagers who have been hidden away in an abandoned hospital, the former Leonardo Bianchi psychiatric hospital in Naples, take a break from their lives, giving them the opportunity for them to escape their daily routine and fantasize about a life they’ll never have: the immense park, full of trees, fallow land and wild flowers, becomes a place to explore; a stray dog finds a place to give birth; the flooded foundations become a sea; an abandoned boat becomes an island to explore and the roof becomes a place of secrets and to play the game ‘who would you save?’.

Salvatore, a 17-year-old boy who helps his father to sell crushed ice drinks, is forced to watch over Veronica, a 15-year-old girl who has been hidden away in a former hospital for seeing a boy who the local mafia boss doesn’t like.
