After travelling back in time to 1982 where they met several members of the Magliana criminal gang in All you need iscrime, Sebastiano, Moreno, Giuseppe and Gianfranco, plus Renatino and his men, are all searching for Sabrina who has stolen their treasure. In the present day, she (Loretta Goggi) is in her seventies and lives with her husband Ranieri (Carlo Buccirosso), who sells fakes, in the Ripolo estate (Nepi, VT), a 17th century villa once owned by the Odescalchi family, in Nepi not far from lake Bracciano, which stands in for the Amalfi coast in the film. The enemy in this second chapter is a gang from Scampia (province of Naples) lead by a certain Van Gogh, son of ‘o Rattuso, already an infamous name in organized crime in 1982.

The story develops in two different time zones: 1982 and the present-day.

In the present day, Renatino and Massimo get themselves invited to a reception at Villa Giovanelli-Fogaccia in Boccea, a neighbourhood in the west of Rome, they pick up a former colleague driving a carriage for tourists near Castel Sant’Angelo and they put together a gang of old timers to steal a painting from the Vatican Museums. They escape through the gardens (actually Villa Mondragone in Monte Porzio Catone, Castelli Romani), a door in largo Ildebrandi 3 in borgo Santo Spirito which lies between the Vatican and Castel Sant’Angelo, and via della Conciliazione, with St. Peter’s Basilica behind them.

In the meantime, Sebastiano, Moreno and Giuseppe are forced to return to 1982, arriving in the midst of the heist they orchestrated in the first film in a bank located in piazza Mastai, on viale Trastevere in Rome. Their destination is Naples, introduced by the belvedere of via Minucio Felice in the upper part of Posillipo where they enjoy the view over the seashore of Chiaia: in the distance is Castel dell’Ovo, later its dock will be used as the location for a drug deal, and the unmistakeable outline of mount Vesuvius. The three head into the alleys of the historical centre in search of ‘o Rattuso (Gianfranco Gallo). Moreno is given the job of entertaining Teresa who works for him: they take a photo in piazza del Plebiscito and he takes her home to via Cavour, in the historical centre of Marino, not far from Rome. Shortly after, the space-time portal returns, created, as in the first film, in piazza della Colonnaccia, at the Videa Studios.

Lorella (Giulia Bevilacqua) is freed near Mare Village on the seashore of Torvaianica, the beach destination of Pomezia.
