Where it was filmed 'The Wholly Family'

This short film opens in Via San Gregorio Armeno, the famous street of vendors of nativity scenes in the centre of Naples. Little Jake stops to admire the statues of Pulcinella on display in one of the small shops,  while his parents look for him in the crowd.

That same night, back at the hotel, he has a nightmare: an enormous Pulcinella eats him and he finds himself in a cave, Sibyl’s Cave in Cuma (NA). He’s then marched by lots of Pulcinellas to the Casina Vanvitelliana hunting lodge on Lake Fusaro in Bacoli (NA). Inside, the boy sees his parents dancing in their wedding clothes in the Succorpo Vanvitelliano, an underground church at the Real Casa della SS Annunziata in Naples.

When he’s taken away from there too, Jack finds himself in a bed at the doll hospital, at the former Filangieri Nursery in Naples.
