Where it was filmed 'I Hate Christmas'

Gianna (Pilar Fogliati) is in her thirties, single - like many, and as Christmas approaches, she is taking stock of herself, her life and what she wants, maybe a family of her own.

She lies to her family, telling them that she has a boyfriend and she will bring him to meet them on Christmas Eve. Now all Gianna has to do is find a boyfriend, but she has only 24 days to do so. Her search begins, amidst blind dates, bad attempts, exciting adventures and uncomfortable moments, all with the picture-postcard calli of Chioggia in the background, which she bikes along and walks with her friends.

Over the episodes, the most characteristic of the places in the lagoon city become characters: from Riva Vena to the calli of the historical centre, to the diga di Sottomarina, which became an open-air set for the occasion.

Several scenes were shot in Venice and the Castle of San Salvatore in Susegana (Treviso).
