The various levels in the game develop through relatively varied and intertwined interactions. Italy is represented by Venice. Although this is a platform game, the location settings are just as enjoyable and textured. Late Renaissance Venice is recognisable and textured: nonetheless, despite the gondolas, bridges and shots of the Lagoon, we never see any of the city’s famous landmarks.

Action / Adventure
The story is set in 1491 and the protagonist is Ezio Auditore. The game has been designed for portable platforms and, unlike other titles in the series, has been developed as a side-scrolling platform game with 3D locations. Ezio assists the Venetian Thieves Guild, protecting them from the political conspiracies of the Templars in Italy and moving to counter the shady plans of Rodrigo Borgia, who is interested in Christopher Columbus and the expedition to the New World.
