Description

Historic Cinecittà Studios in via Tuscolana (Rome), founded in 1937, comprise 19 soundstages, 400 dressing rooms, offices, make-up rooms and warehouses and a backlot of over 100,000 sqm. Shooting at Cinecittà means always having the right space available for every scene with the entire production process organized in the most efficient way, whether for films, dramas, TV shows, commercials, video clips or photo shoots.
From the more intimate soundstages of 450 sqm to the legendary 3,000 sqm teatro 5, named after the maestro Federico Fellini, all the studios are soundproofed, equipped with lighting and air conditioning systems, walkways and trap doors to enable the creation of every kind of scenic effect.
Numerous residential sets made for previous productions are available for modification according to the specific needs of the individual project.
Themed areas include: Ancient Rome, Submarine, Western Saloon, the piazzetta of a historic town centre.
