Where it was filmed 'They Call Me Jeeg'

The film opens with a panoramic view over Rome, with Enzo fleeing from the police. From Rione Campo Marzio, he heads to Castel Sant’Angelo, where he descends the steps to hide beneath Lungotevere Castello.

He comes into contact with radioactive substances hidden in the river bed, and discovers he has a superhuman strength, a new talent that he immediately tests out amidst the tall, faceless buildings, surrounded by wide streets and deserted green spaces, in the suburb of Tor Bella Monica, where criminal gangs carve up the drug trade. The first use of his superpowers involves breaking into an ATM, a set built in the studios of Cinecittà, as were the interiors of his home and that of Alessia.

Enzo reassesses his priorities after meeting the girl and discovering that he wants to protect her from both others and herself. In an iconic scene at Fantasyland, an amusement park in Torvaianica (Pomezia), Enzo spins the big wheel to please Alessia. The relationship between the two develops in crowded places like the Cinecittadue Shopping mall and Piazza di Porta San Paolo near Pyramid Cestia.

The encounter between Enzo and the “Gypsy” (lo Zingaro) takes place in the Olympic Stadium, at the Foro Italico and on the Ponte della Musica Armando Trovajoli, which links Lungotevere Flaminio with Lungotevere Cadorna. The finale takes place on top of the Colosseum.
