San Leo was carefully recreated albeit with several fictional concessions. Recognisable locations such as Piazza Dante, the Civic Tower and the famous Forte di San Leo, prison of Count Cagliostro, were included.
There are also references, especially on the map, to the well of Cagliostro, the Oratory of San Severino and the Convent of Sant’Igne not far from the residential centre. The village entrance, the Porta di Sopra, Upper Gate, is also mentioned. A plaque near the gate records the village’s connection to Dante Alighieri and a dialogue mentions him by name.
The game, supported by IVIPRO and the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission, was awarded the patronage of the Comune di San Leo.

The Hand of Glory is an investigation graphic adventure that evokes the great classes of the genre, in particular Broken Sword, a game beloved by the writer, Stefano Rossitto. This is a game where the fictional universe has its roots in the real world, positioned between history and mystery. The first part of the adventure is set in Miami. Players take the role of Detective Lazarus Bundy who is investigating the disappearance of Kathrin Mulzberg, a young girl from one of the city’s most influential families. Lazarus’ investigations will also take him to Italy.
