Outside of Italy, the film was shot in Paris.

Plot

Chiara is an actress, the daughter of Marcello Mastroianni and Catherine Deneuve. One particularly difficult summer, she decides to revive her father through her self: she dresses like him, talks like him, breathes like him, with such strength that those around her begin to believe it and to call her "Marcello".
